4 peices of chicken

1 cup of Monpati Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1 can of tomato sauce

1/2 cup red wine

1/2 cup water

1 chopped onion

2 garlic cloves

2 laurel leaves

1 cinnimon stick

1 tablespoon salt

1 tablespoon sugar

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon pepper





Add the olive oil to the pan and turn the heat on high.

Add the chicken for a couple of minutes and then remove and set aside. When the chicken is removed add the chopped onions and saute for a few minutes. Add the chicken again and rotate a few times in the pot.  Next add wine.  Let it boil for 5 minutes.

Add the tomato sauce, sugar, pepper, paprika, cinnamon, laurel leaves and salt. Let it come to a boil again and then turn the heat down to medium.

Let it boil for about an hour. Check frequently to see if water needs to be added.
